Games are reformed my life.
Many cities I traveled to recent years which once I have tours in Assassin’s creed series, sleeping dogs 2, GTA, etc. already.
It has a very impact when I really in there, in the real world. So every time I went back, always want to experience once in games.
But as I’m getting older and older and older👴, I have less time to play it as before👱.
Recording📹 while I’m playing 🎮 maybe a good idea.
As I have a GIGABYTE Geforce GTX 1080 to train deep learning model, so the only thing I need is Nvidia ShadowPlay. Which is prefect for recording games.
But the minimal bitrate is 10Mbps, I want reduce it under 6kbps, so compression 🗜️ involved.
I always use FFmpeg before, but feel panic every time I heard the fan of my Macbook💻 noising, and it usually took all night🌃 to convert batch videos.
Fortunately I saw Cuda logo this time which reminded the GPU accelerating.
Then I found staxrip, which is awesome👍.
- Click x264, choose NVIDIA H.265 ( I test on my 1080, it has a similar speed comparing with NVIDIA H.264, I was thought 264 should much fast than 265 ), then it can use GPU to accelerate.
- Click Encoder Options, change the mode to VBR, then Video Bitrate appeared.
It can reach 250 frame/s with CPU 40%, GPU 35%.
